Every half-week, Etsy interviews and features one seller on the front page. And today it is an Israeli seller!
She's from Haifa, her daughter ( is on Etsy too and she thoroughly deserves this honour.
Without further ado I give you the interview and

By the way, this is not the first time an Israeli member has been featured - check out the interview with papafork from very nearly 2 years ago.

Our favourite non-Israeli Etsy items

There are a few more favourites listed in - come and see!

What do you think of when someone says Israel?

Most people probably think of war and violence.
Some may think of the holy land or Jerusalem.

But there is more, so much more, to and in Israel.
Did you know there are 8 Israeli Nobel Prize winners? And so many Jewish ones I can't even count them?
Also lots of Israeli scientists have won all sorts of prizes I've never heard of...
Wiki says "Israel is the only country in the Middle East considered to be a liberal democracy due to its broad array of political rights and civil liberties."

In everyday life, we don't live in war and violence (except for Sderot and the area, continually attacked by rockets from the Gaza strip). Most people know someone who is currently serving in the IDF (mandatory) but still life goes on, and crafting - even more so.1

This blog was made to showcase the diverse talents of Israeli Etsy sellers.
For Israelis who want to buy locally, Zionists who want to support Israeli artists and anyone else who is interested, We have a list of all Esty sellers located in Israel.

If there are any that aren't mentioned please let us know, we'd love to add them too!

All Israeli Etsyers are invited to contribute to this blog in any way they want.

We have an Etsy user at which has all these Israelis in its favourites (if you prefer browsing that way).
